Jacob Perius
PT, DPT
Jacob grew up in Gardiner, Montana, on the border of Yellowstone National Park, where he developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the communities that surround them. Jacob received his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana, with a minor in Exercise Science, before continuing his education at the University of Montana and earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
Jacob’s passion for physical therapy stems from his belief that everyone, regardless of age or ability, should be able to participate in and enjoy the world around them. He particularly enjoys meeting people where they are, building meaningful connections with his patients, and using movement to help them return to the activities and lifestyles that are important to them. Jacob has a special interest in treating balance deficits, older adults experiencing general strength and conditioning deficits, backcountry hunters and anglers, and adolescents of all activity levels. He has received additional education in Parkinson’s management, running-related injuries, vestibular rehabilitation, and extremity and spinal manipulation. He enjoys helping patients build confidence in their movement and strength so they can continue doing the things they love throughout their lives.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking, basketball, and spending time outdoors. He is excited to call Laramie home with his wife, Raychl, and looks forward to every opportunity to become involved in the Laramie community. Jacob is passionate about helping others stay active, connected, and independent while being a part of the community he now calls home.
