Liz is a Wyoming native but spent a portion of her childhood in Kansas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Kansas before continuing to Missouri State University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017.
She has practiced in a variety of settings including the VA in Cheyenne, WY, and most recently, an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Jackson, WY. She is passionate about promoting physical and mental well-being which drives her principled approach to physical therapy. She particularly enjoys working with geriatric populations but, as a former college athlete herself, she has a special place in her heart for athletes. One of her favorite parts about being a PT is knowing that she can help stave off physical decline and even help patients avoid surgery.
In her free time, Liz enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, biking, skiing snowmobiling, and spending time with her boyfriend and their two fur babies. She’s excited to be part of the High Country PT team and be a primary resource for dealing with injury and preventative healthcare in the Laramie community.
We are continually taking classes to stay on top of our game. Here are some that Liz has taken:
